By accessing or using Mathagram.org, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our service.
Mathagram is designed for students in Middle School (ages 11+), High School, and University. You must be at least 11 years old to create an account and use Mathagram. Users under 13 years of age must have verifiable parental or guardian consent before creating an account or using Learning Post.
By creating an account, you confirm that you meet the age requirement. Mathagram reserves the right to terminate any account that is found to belong to a user who does not meet the minimum age requirement. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 11.
To access certain features, you must create an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
Username Requirements. Your display name (username) must be between 3 and 13 characters long and may only contain letters A-Z and a-z. No spaces, numbers, or special characters are permitted. Usernames that do not meet these requirements will be rejected at sign-up.
All content on Mathagram, including but not limited to lessons, exercises, character artwork, animations, and source code, is the intellectual property of Mathagram and its creators. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit written permission.
You agree not to share your account credentials with others, scrape or crawl the website using automated tools, attempt to disrupt or interfere with the service, or use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
Mathagram's Learning Post is a community space for sharing educational content. By using Learning Post, you agree to the following rules in addition to these Terms of Service:
a) Be Respectful. Treat all users with kindness and respect. Bullying, harassment, hate speech, discrimination, or personal attacks of any kind will result in immediate account suspension.
b) Protect Your Privacy. Never share personal information including your full name, home address, phone number, school name, email address, or passwords in posts. Mathagram is not responsible for personal information you voluntarily disclose.
c) Education-Only Content. All posts must be related to learning, courses, study tips, questions, or educational discussion. Off-topic, social, or non-educational content will be removed.
d) Education-Only Images. You may only upload images of your own work, notes, diagrams, math problems, screenshots of study materials, or educational content. Selfies, photos of pets, memes, inappropriate imagery, violent content, sexual content, or any non-educational images are strictly prohibited and will result in account suspension.
e) No Spam or Advertising. Do not post external links, promotions, advertisements, or repetitive messages. Do not use Learning Post to solicit personal information from other users.
f) No Cheating. Do not share direct answers to exercises or quizzes. You may help others understand concepts, but posting answer keys or solutions that enable cheating is prohibited. Additionally, sharing, reposting, or redistributing Mathagram lesson content, quiz answers, or course materials to other platforms — including but not limited to Duolingo, Brilliant, Khan Academy, Quizlet, Chegg, Course Hero, Reddit, Discord, TikTok, YouTube, or any other website, app, or social media — is strictly forbidden. Mathagram content is proprietary and for use only within Mathagram.org. A first-time cheating or content-sharing violation will receive a warning (Strike 1), but it is treated as a serious offense — any repeat cheating or sharing violation will immediately escalate to Strike 2 (1-week suspension), regardless of your current strike count.
g) No Impersonation. Do not pretend to be another user, a Mathagram staff member, or any other person or entity.
h) Report Violations. If you see content that violates these rules, report it. Do not engage with or retaliate against violators. Mathagram reserves the right to remove any post and suspend any account that violates these rules without prior notice.
i) Age Requirement. Users under 13 years of age must have parental consent to use Learning Post. All content must be appropriate for all ages.
j) Content Ownership. By posting on Learning Post, you grant Mathagram a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display your content on the platform. You retain ownership of your original content. Mathagram may remove any content at its sole discretion.
Mathagram takes violations of the Learning Post Community Rules seriously. The following enforcement actions may be taken at Mathagram's sole discretion:
Mathagram uses a 3-Strike System enforced by Edam the Bear, our community guardian. Each violation is tracked on your account:
a) Strike 1 — Warning. On your first violation, you will receive a warning message from Edam the Bear. The warning is recorded on your account. Your violating content will be removed. You may continue using Mathagram, but you are expected to follow the rules going forward.
b) Strike 2 — 1-Week Suspension. On your second violation, your account will be suspended for 1 full week (7 days). During suspension, you cannot access any lessons, Learning Post, or any other Mathagram features. You will be automatically signed out and cannot sign back in until the suspension period ends. Edam the Bear will deliver the suspension notice personally.
c) Strike 3 — Permanent Ban. On your third violation, your account will be permanently terminated. All XP, progress, level data, and posted content will be deleted. You will be immediately signed out and permanently blocked from signing in. Edam the Bear will deliver the final termination notice. This action is irreversible and cannot be appealed.
d) Content Removal. Any post, image, or comment that violates the Community Rules will be removed immediately without prior notice, regardless of which strike it is.
e) Automatic Sign-Out. Upon suspension or termination, the user will be immediately signed out of all sessions. Suspended users are blocked from signing in for the duration of the suspension. Terminated users are permanently blocked.
f) No Refund or Recovery. Suspended users retain their data but cannot access it during suspension. Terminated users lose all data permanently. Mathagram is not obligated to provide backups or exports.
g) Ban Evasion. Creating a new account to circumvent a suspension or termination is itself a violation and will result in immediate permanent termination of the new account.
h) Severe Violations. For extremely severe violations — including posting sexual content, illegal content, threats of violence, doxxing, or hate speech — Mathagram reserves the right to skip directly to Strike 3 (permanent ban) regardless of the user's current strike count.
i) Legal Action. Mathagram reserves the right to pursue legal action against users who engage in illegal activity on the platform.
Educational content on Mathagram is provided "as is" for learning purposes. While we strive for accuracy, we make no guarantees regarding the completeness or correctness of any content. Mathagram is not a substitute for formal education or professional instruction.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of Mathagram after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
